As with most “boomers” whose children have moved out and started their new lives, the idea of scaling back and downsizing life in a new home brought with it the opportunity to create a new chapter, a new feel and a very different lifestyle.

After approaching Nancy with our ideas regarding style (casual more than formal), colors (softer rather than bolder) and comfort, she very quickly was able to create an entire new look by pulling out various fabrics, different furniture styles, colors and complimentary materials (wood, wrought iron, rugs, etc.) that immediately created the blend and look to which we desired.

Once the final choices were made, her team very efficiently forwarded a completed floor plan for the house indicating the best possible placement of everything for our review.

The hardest part of the entire process was the waiting for the delivery and installation of items (window treatments, furniture, lighting, etc.) after placing the orders as each company we were dealing with had different time schedules.

When all was said and done, the house looks incredible. Every room flows gracefully into the next creating the comfortable and beautiful space that we had envisioned.

Nancy’s eye for detail, her quick ability to blend the proper colors and textures (pillows, window treatments, rugs, furniture) and the excitement she demonstrates with a project made working with her and her entire team a truly fun (and learning) experience.

No doubt there are many interior design companies/individuals in our area to whom we could have worked with. However, Nancy’s reputation for understanding the client’s desires and her ability to take those ideas & thoughts and bring them to fruition were well worth the 2-1/2 hour to the beach to engage her services.
